Now we need the person who makes people care. We are looking for a founding CMO who can turn a live, working platform into a brand people recognize, trust, and choose.### Where we are today (please read first)We want to be direct about our stage:* The platform is live, and our audience is at a very early stage. You will be building awareness from close to zero.* Our marketing site and social channels are up. The playbook and the voice are yours to create.* Pre-revenue, pre-equity financing, and pre-token sale. Our token offering is built, but the sale is paused and no tokens have been sold. Token trading is not enabled.* Some products are live today and others are built but not yet switched on, so knowing what to talk about, and when, is part of the job.You will not inherit a brand someone else defined. You will write the first chapter.### About USSEUSSE is a Delaware corporation building a compliance-first, privacy-centric platform where a person's wallet is their account and their identity. There is no email or password to create, and users sign every action themselves. The platform went live on Ethereum and Base on July 4, 2026.What you would be telling the world about:* TheWall: a social feed that is chronological by default, with no ads and no hidden ranking algorithm, governed by published community standards.* DEEP Mail: end-to-end encrypted messaging and group chats between wallets.* Media Marketplace: digital media and limited editions, with creator royalties on every resale.* Identity: .usse names, profiles, and contacts that the user owns.* More on the way: event ticketing, now in private beta, and a planned private token offering for verified accredited investors.### The roleYou will be the company's first marketing leader and its public voice. Our privacy story, our creator story, and our social story each speak to a different audience, and you will decide how USSE shows up for all of them. You set the strategy, and you also write, brief, and ship the work yourself.One thing makes this role different from most: USSE is a securities issuer as well as a consumer platform. Anything we say publicly about our token offering is regulated, so you will work hand in hand with our legal team. The best person for this role sees that as a creative constraint, not a roadblock.### What you will own* Brand: our name, voice, look, and positioning, everywhere USSE appears.* Growth: building an audience across our products, and timing launches as new features come online.* Social media and community: the channels, the conversations, and the people who become our earliest advocates.* Content and storytelling: making privacy, digital ownership, and on-chain technology make sense to people who have never used a wallet.* Budget and measurement: the marketing budget, the numbers that show what is working, and the agencies and contractors we bring in.We will go through the specifics of each area with candidates during the interview process.### Qualifications### Required* 10+ years in marketing, including leading a marketing function or a major brand.* You have built something from an early stage: a brand, a launch, or a community.* Experience in a regulated category, such as financial services, fintech, healthcare, or insurance, where your work went through legal review and still landed.* A strong writer with sharp judgment about claims. You know the difference between an accurate statement and an attractive one, and you choose accurate.* A genuine willingness to accept early-stage risk in exchange for ownership.### Strongly preferred* Experience marketing digital assets, fintech, privacy technology, or social and creator platforms.* Community-led growth: you have grown an audience without a large paid budget.* Comfort with marketing analytics, and with explaining technical products to people who are not technical.* Experience working closely with engineers and product teams.### How you work* You build an audience rather than rent one.* You would rather ship a good campaign this week than a perfect one next quarter.* You report numbers honestly, including the ones that are not flattering.### Where you will workThis role is based at our corporate office in Hutchinson, Kansas. You can start on a hybrid schedule, and you will then relocate to Hutchinson to work in person. We will agree the timing with the right candidate.### Compensation and riskThis role is built for someone who wants a real stake in what they help build. Compensation is negotiated with the right candidate and is expected to include:* Cash compensation* Founding executive equity, with standard vesting* Token-based compensation, where offered, subject to definitive agreements, vesting, lockups, and applicable securities lawsUpside comes through ownership. No part of this role's compensation is tied to the amount of money raised.Please weigh the risk honestly. We are pre-revenue, we have not sold tokens, and we have not raised equity. Cash compensation may be limited or deferred until funding is secured, and equity or token-based compensation may ultimately be worth nothing. If you need a fixed, fully funded salary from day one, this is not the right role.
