Bookkeeper

Corpus Christi Classical Academy in Shelbyville, KY, is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper (approx. 15 hours or less per week with flexible schedule) who will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the school, including accounts payable, payroll processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, deposits, financial reports and records in Quickbooks, documenting all receipts, expenditures and deposits, preparing charitable gaming compliance and reports, assisting in preparing school budgets based upon input from the School Board Treasurer and Principal/Head of School. Qualifications: Familiarity with Quickbooks and Paychex is preferred and proficiency with Microsoft Office a must. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic, who is organized, detail‑oriented, and trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality and follow established internal controls. Experience with bookkeeping in a Catholic Parish or School is preferred. Works with the Principal/Head of School in the day-to-day operations of the school, and with the School Board Treasurer to prepare financial reports for each Board Meeting.
