Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

• Maintain monthly accruals and prepaids to ensure timely and accurate closings
• Perform detailed bank reconciliations, including deposits and unique payment nuances
• Execute inventory-related journal entries and template processes based on written SOPs
• Assist with accounts payable processing and adapt to changing priorities
• Rapidly learn and deliver results within legacy financial systems and manual processes

Skills/Experience

• Strong accounting fundamentals with hands-on experience in accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)
• Proven ability to adapt to new systems and manual, template-driven environments
