Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2284.80/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient condition promptly.
  
  
• 
  Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for scheduled surgeries.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  
  
• 
  Document all nursing actions and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid State RN license in Michigan.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in an operating room setting.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
