Plastics Injection Molding Project Manager- Full-Time Location: Rockford, IL, 61104
What you will be doing:
What you will be doing:
- Develop a project plan, assemble a project team, and guide the project team through all stages of the process for all assigned projects.
- Work closely with our stakeholders and customers to identify all project requirements.
- Create presentations to describe project proposals for internal reviews and approval.
- Gather project costs for quotations.
- Evaluate the project impact on current manufacturing operations, including the creation of line layouts.
- Direct and assist the setup, installation, and launch of new product lines, machines, or tools related to assigned projects.
- Maintain constant communication with internal and external contacts.
- Participate in specific cost-reduction programs.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5-10 years in an injection molding manufacturing environment.
- Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D design software.
- Experience with MRP or ERP systems.
