Artificial Intelligence Lead – HR Technology

We are only focusing on Oracle AI at this point because the client team lead has resources in her team for building solutions outside of AI.

Ideally, I need someone who can work with our COEs to develop the overall AI roadmap (HCM AI + external AI agents/bots/etc.) and lead in collaboration with the product leads on my team and functional/technical leads on the Arathi team to implement the HCM AI and work with the client team lead's team to ensure that what they build for us (as per our roadmap) meet our needs.

For all of the AI work I expect this person to track progress, set KPIs with stakeholders, oversee development, complete unit tests, coordinate and manage UATs, and lead the development and implementation of change management, education and communications.

One other key thing I need this person to lead on is assessing risk of misuse or misconfiguration of the AI, putting in controls in the E2E processes and review new AI with our legal counsel for any employment or privacy related concerns.

The Artificial Intelligence Lead plays a pivotal role in advancing our HR Technology Team's capabilities by leveraging AI and machine learning to optimize human resource processes. This position requires a visionary leader with a strong functional and technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive innovation within the HR domain.

The Artificial Intelligence Lead for HR Technology will play a key role in ensuring the business transformation program objectives are accelerated through the use of AI. This position will collaborate with our HR Tech workstreams and centers of excellence stakeholders to identify and implement AI driven capabilities that drive efficiency, reduce user pain points or use created data errors, and accelerate business outcomes while aligning to the company's policies and meeting compliance requirements.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline HR operations such as recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, talent development, and workforce analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and automation in HR processes.
• Lead the design, testing, and deployment of machine learning models to enhance HR decision-making and predictive analytics.
• Ensure data integrity and security in AI applications and adhere to ethical guidelines and privacy regulations.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI and HR technology, and propose strategic initiatives to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
• Analyze and interpret complex HR data to provide actionable insights and recommendations regarding data readiness, fit-gap, etc.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to integrate external AI solutions with internal HR systems.

Minimum Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Experience/ (Key Competencies)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing AI solutions
• Ability to partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to understand business objectives and expected outcomes and define requirements.
• Proven experience in AI and machine learning, with a focus on HR applications.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods.
• Experience in natural language processing (NLP) and chatbot development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
