The Cochecton Pump House —a one-of-a-kind seasonal outdoor bar, restaurant, and event space—is looking for a dependable, full or part time assistant line cook with good vibes to join our kitchen team for the 2025 season

What We’re Looking For:

Full or part time hours available

Reliable and motivated individuals who can handle a fast-casual kitchen with a fun summer party vibe

A team player who works well under pressure during busy shifts

Experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person

Must be comfortable working in a semi outdoor kitchen environment

Weekend availability is a must

What You’ll Do:

Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and quality standards. Plus add your own ideas for seasonal weekly specials

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Work efficiently during high-volume hours

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly pay $18-$23 , per hour  plus tips (hourly rate commensurate with experience)

A unique and lively work environment in a historic open-air space

A seasonal position—May 2025 through October 2025

Growth potential for returning seasons and possible off season catering and special events
