Our Community Integration Program:

• This is our 100% community-based day program serving adults with developmental disabilities. This program focuses on pre-vocational skills, safe use of public transportation, social skills practice, and exploration of individual interests.

As the Program Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Assist program leadership in managing the day-to-day operations of the Quest program.
• Collaborate with program leadership to develop an individualized approach for meeting 
  the support needs and Individual Service Plan (ISP) goals for every individual attending 
  the program.
• Coordinate staff and participant schedules, ensuring staff are equipped with effective 
  support strategies and instructional guidance to meet participant needs.
• Lead the development of curriculum and activity planning, ensuring alignment with 
  individualized goals. 
• Support participants in developing and learning the skills necessary to navigate and 
  participate in the community successfully. 
• Navigate public transportation with participants to explore the community, while 
  teaching travel safety and awareness of surroundings.
• Accurately record all required case documentation in the electronic visit verification 
  (EVV) system, including goal implementation and progress notes.
• Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to new Community Team Members, assisting in 
  their training and shadowing to ensure they understand program protocols and 
  expectations

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Program hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Work location:

• North Hollywood
• Sylmar

Compensation:

• Starting at $22.00 - $26.00/hour (depending on prior experience and qualifications)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental 
  disabilities. 
• Experience with administrative tasks/and or staff coaching in the IDD field preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a DOJ Live Scan fingerprinting background clearance.
• Valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Negative TB test and a pre-employment physical verifying fitness for duty.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and connection 
  with participants, families, and team members across diverse backgrounds
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication, tailored to a variety of audiences 
  and needs. 
• Team-oriented and mission-driven, with a strong work ethic and a natural inclination 
  toward collaboration, accountability, and excellence. 
• Ability to stay calm and solution-focused in high-pressure situations.
