Director Corporate Communications

Summary Oversees the creation of all strategic communications initiatives for Broward Health. Develops coordinates and supervises communication initiatives including public/media relations, internal communications, publications and executive communications. Provides support as needed to hospital, ambulatory and service lines as well as marketing, digital, and creative teams. Serves as a leader for executive and board of commissioners' communications. Location: Broward Health Corporate Spectrum Shift: Shift 1 FTE: 1.0 Education Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications. Master's degree preferred. Experience Minimum of 7 years of related experience in corporate communications including management. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Experience with internal and external communications, executive communications, crisis communications, and strategic communications preferred. Excellent writing and editing skills strongly preferred.
