Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections, including first-article, in-process, and final evaluations, to guarantee product conformance. Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T specifications to verify that parts align with engineering requirements. Utilize advanced hand metrology tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges to achieve precise measurements. Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform detailed dimensional analysis on critical components. Document inspection results and quality data accurately within the ERP system to maintain full traceability. Collaborate with production teams to communicate findings, resolve quality discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in mechanical inspection within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement instruments and physical gauges. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Preferred Skills Direct experience working within an AS9100 quality management system. Prior experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI).
