Key Responsibilities

• Implement components of patient care plans and obtain data related to treatments provided
• Assist the Physical Therapist in the treatment of individuals across all age groups
• Help patients perform stretching, exercise, and balance training techniques
• Communicate with patients' families to identify appropriate at-home care techniques
• Safely transfer and transport patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area
• Complete administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and filing paperwork

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Missouri
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting experience
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience collaborating with Physical Therapists to modify and adjust patient care plans
• Familiarity with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
