Registered Nurse – Procedural Unit

Schedule: 36 hours per week - Two 10-hour shifts: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM - Two 8-hour shifts: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Assignment Details: Average daily census: 20 - 3 procedure rooms, 11 beds - Weekend requirement: 2–3 weekends per contract - On-call: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call every 6 weeks

Requirements: RN licensure in the state or Compact license required - Minimum of 1 year clinical RN experience - ERCP experience required (including ERCP with SpyGlass) - BLS and ACLS certifications required

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing various procedures. Monitor and administer conscious sedation as appropriate. Act as a circulating and/or scrubbing nurse for ERCP, bronchoscopy, EBUS, colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Document patient care and procedure details in the electronic health record.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 40 hours with modules based on specialty - Full compliance required to start on time - Traveler expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment
