We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Manager to join our team at West Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a premier 176-bed nursing home in the heart of Philadelphia. As a Unit Manager RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our interdisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

As a Unit Manager RN, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our unit, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and service. You will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, promoting a positive and supportive work environment. You will also be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and communication
• Providing guidance and mentorship to our nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development
• Maintaining accurate records and reports, meeting regulatory requirements and accrediting bodies
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
