Role Overview Provides professional nursing care to patients by applying the nursing process within an interdisciplinary team. Focuses on clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, patient safety, education, and performance improvement. Responsibilities Assessing patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams. Developing and modifying individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Implementing interventions to achieve patient outcomes and documenting progress. Ensuring safe patient handling, troubleshooting equipment, and obtaining lab specimens. Coordinating interdisciplinary care, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively with team members. Providing patient education tailored to age, cultural, and developmental needs. Participating in quality improvement activities, data collection, and process enhancements. Promoting a safe and patient-centered environment, advocating for patients, and supporting team development. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. Strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
