Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Construction Workers for an immediate hire opportunity in Longboat Key, FL.

TEMP TO HIRE!

Join a long-term temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing restoration team.

• PAY: $21.00 - $28.00/hr. (based upon experience)
• HOURS: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• SCHEDULE: Expected work will be Monday-Friday; 40 hours/week
• START DATE: ASAP
• DURATION: This is anticipated to be a Temp-to-Hire position

Job Description:

Seeking experienced construction professionals to perform waterproofing, painting, caulking, restoration, patchwork, surface preparation, power washing, chipping, grinding, cement work, and sealing applications on commercial restoration projects. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights from swing stages and scaffolding while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

• Experience in waterproofing, painting, caulking, restoration, concrete repair, or related construction trades
• Experience working from swing stages and scaffolding required
• Ability to perform chipping, grinding, cement work, patchwork, prep work, sealing, and restoration activities
• Strong communication skills and understanding of construction safety procedures
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Must be able to safely use hand and power tools and PPE
• Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Position requires the use of PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and other standard construction PPE

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• No drug screen required
• No background check required
