We are seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendents to join our team for large-scale long-haul fiber installation projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. Be a part of our Ledcor Technical Services team and build a rewarding career with us! Essential Responsibilities Ensures projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes. Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations. Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules. Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects. Has working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project. Participates in subcontractor, supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations. Sets priorities and allocates resources as needed for the entire field team. Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents. Qualifications 8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent. Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment. Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset. Effective communication and leadership skills. Ability to directly supervise craft employees and sub‑contractors. Problem‑solving abilities and capacity to anticipate and address issues. Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices. Strong organizational and planning skills. Working Conditions Able to meet physical requirements: sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in various weather conditions. Site‑based position that may require travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites.
