Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certification with overnight shifts.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed hospital Emergency Department
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Common procedures include central line insertion, chest tubes, thoracic lavage, and intubations
• Overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke
• ENPC and IO training preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Professional reference required based on state requirements

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of acute and trauma cases
• Best suited for independent, self-motivated candidates with strong customer service and communication skills
• Patient care experience and collaboration with providers and staff is a priority
• Scrub color requirement: Maroon, Wine, or Burgundy
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions for local candidates
