Welder $21.00-$28.00 + per hour based on experience 1st 6:00am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring Welders / Fabrication Technicians for a company in Algona, IA. Welder Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: Perform welding and fabrication tasks based on shop priorities. Weld aluminum, cast iron, and magnesium components. Complete re-work functions and repair projects as assigned. Assist Drivetrain Technicians with welding and fabrication needs. Work alongside machinists on specialty welding projects. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and cosmetic standards are met. Report machinery or equipment issues to maintenance personnel. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times. Welder Requirements: - Experience with MIG, TIG, and wire-feed welding required. - Basic automotive and mechanical knowledge preferred. - Experience using hand and power tools. - Ability to operate plasma cutters and torches. - Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift. - Ability to lift and move materials and components as needed. - Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and perform repetitive movements. - Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment.
