Role Description The Assistant Manager of Operations at Old Navy in Reynoldsburg, OH is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supporting store operational excellence and a smooth customer experience. This role oversees daily operational activities such as inventory management, shipment processing, stockroom organization, and sales floor replenishment. The Assistant Manager of Operations partners with store leadership to implement company policies, ensure compliance with safety and loss prevention standards, and maintain accurate operational reporting. The role also involves scheduling and workload planning, guiding and coaching team members, and supporting operational training to build strong performance and engagement. The Assistant Manager of Operations collaborates with cross-functional partners to drive efficiency and contribute to overall store success. Qualifications Operational leadership skills, including experience overseeing store operations, coordinating workflows, and supporting daily execution. Inventory and merchandising skills, such as managing stock levels, organizing backroom and sales floor, and ensuring timely replenishment. Team coaching and communication skills, including the ability to train, motivate, and provide feedback to diverse team members. Customer service and problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience and resolving operational issues efficiently. Basic analytical and organizational skills, including comfort with point-of-sale systems, reporting tools, and task prioritization. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Previous retail or operations supervisory experience preferred; experience in multi-unit or high-volume environments is a plus.
