This position performs skilled craft work under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Mechanic and, depending on the size of facility, may report to the Plant Manager or General Manager. Maintenance Mechanic II installs, maintains, repairs, and inspects mechanical equipment used in specialized food manufacturing.Minimum requirements:Education-High School Diploma or equivalent helpful.Training & Experience-5 years in the trade as a mechanic/technicianTwo years experience in building construction, maintenance, or repair work; or, knowledge in the plumbing, electrical and welding fields.Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements-Must have a valid California Class C Driver's LicenseCompetencies: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-Communication – Able to read and communicate verbally in English, with bilingual ability in Spanish helpful.
