Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Focused on investigating, evaluating, and resolving property damage and bodily injury claims, the full-time Nebraska Licensed Claims Examiner will negotiate settlements, analyze coverage, and manage claims processes while working either onsite in Omaha, NE or remotely. Key responsibilities Investigate assigned claims, gather necessary documentation, and communicate with involved parties to evaluate and resolve claims Analyze insurance contracts to determine rights and obligations of the company and stakeholders, coordinating with the Legal Department as needed Establish case reserves, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate records of communications and claim files Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Three or more years of related work experience in claims examination Knowledge of insurance claim procedures and loss evaluation methods Ability to interpret and apply insurance contracts Licensure as a Nebraska Claims Examiner or the ability to obtain it
