Role Overview The Electrical Project Manager provides overall management direction on one or more electrical construction projects valued up to $10 million, with full accountability for scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety. The role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and field leadership, and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular client or group of clients. Balancing hands‑on project execution with client and team leadership, the Project Manager drives profitable delivery from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating estimating, procurement, engineering, and field operations. This is an office‑based role in the DFW Metroplex with regular presence at project sites. This role may be filled at varying levels based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and overall qualifications. Final title, level, and compensation will be determined through the interview and assessment process and will be aligned with internal equity and external market benchmarks. Core Responsibilities Provide overall management direction on one or more electrical construction projects valued up to $10 million, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives are met Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, engineers, and field leadership Develop new business opportunities relative to a particular client or group of clients Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, billings, and change order processes to protect profitability Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with general contractor and field timelines Lead buyout, procurement, and subcontractor and vendor management for the electrical scope Review electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals for constructability and code compliance Coordinate electrical scope with mechanical, plumbing, and other trades to identify and resolve conflicts Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation through closeout and as-built delivery Lead and mentor assistant project managers, project engineers, and field supervision Ensure compliance with safety programs, contract terms, and applicable codes and standards Required Background 4-year mechanical or electrical engineering or construction science degree, or commensurate levels of technical training and related experience 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission critical, or institutional projects Proven ability to manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety on projects up to $10 million Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, procurement practices, and applicable codes and standards including the NEC Working knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and change management Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and new business opportunities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management and scheduling software Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position Experience with design-build or design-assist electrical delivery (Preferred) Hyperscale data center, hospital, or life sciences project experience (Preferred) PMP or relevant professional certification (Preferred) Bilingual English and Spanish (Preferred) Compensation & Perks Competitive salary based on experience 401(k) plan with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Annual bonus program based on performance, achievement, and company profitability Term life, AD&D, and voluntary life insurance Disability income protection insurance Pre‑tax flexible spending plans (health and dependent care) Paid parental leave Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time Training and professional development opportunities Company‑paid memberships for professional associations and licenses Fully remote work – work from anywhere in the U.S. Path for advancement into senior VDC and leadership roles #J-18808-Ljbffr Upgrade Resources
