AI Governance Analyst

Location: Remote (requires onsite quarterly)

Role Overview

This role supports the rapidly growing AI Governance function and acts as the intake and evaluation point for AI use cases submitted by the business. The AI Governance team has experienced substantial growth in demand, creating a need for additional intake and coordination support. This position will serve as the front door for AI governance requests, ensuring that submissions are complete and ready for review.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for AI governance requests.
• Intake and document incoming use cases.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather required information.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation.
• Prepare submissions for broader governance review.
• Ensure business cases are complete, ROI is documented, data sources are identified, and models are defined.
• Return incomplete requests to business units for additional clarification.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Proven experience as a business analyst or governance analyst.
• Demonstrated documentation and organizational skills.
• Experience in communicating with and following up with stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

• A foundational understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and traditional Machine Learning.
• Ability to categorize AI use cases and understand differences between solution types.
• Capacity to ask intelligent follow-up questions to determine if submissions contain sufficient detail.

• Proactive and process-oriented work style.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable challenging incomplete submissions.
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to track status and follow up effectively.
