How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

Establish operational plans and technical roadmaps for the adoption of new automation technologies in line with functional objectives.

Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify and justify opportunities for automation and robotics implementation.

Design and evaluate robotic cells, lines, and integrated automation systems.

Define robot selection criteria including payload, reach, accuracy, speed, and safety.

Specify end-effectors, tooling, vision, and sensing solutions for industrial use cases.

Support programming approaches including offline programming and adaptive control.

Assess feasibility, risks, and limitations of robotics use cases.

Capture lessons learned and contribute to robotics standards and best practices.

Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing effective solutions to enhance product performance and reliability

What You Bring (requirements)

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Extensive professional experience (typically 5+ years) in designing, deploying, and maintaining industrial robotics and automation systems.

Demonstrated experience as a subject-matter expert, leading technical projects and influencing strategic decisions in an R&D or advanced manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of major robot platforms and ecosystem components.

Deep understanding of safety standards, risk assessment, and industrial compliance.

Experience with commissioning, debugging, and production support of robotic systems.

Strong problem-solving mindset with shopfloor credibility.

Ability to translate operational needs into robotic solutions.
