Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our respiratory team. This position involves providing high-quality care and support to patients during night shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by the medical team.Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to therapy, adjusting as needed.Support the implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.ScheduleThe role is full-time with night shifts consisting of 4x12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include working every other weekend and every other holiday. Please note that there are restrictions on returning to the office around the Christmas holiday.QualificationsRequired: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.A minimum of 4 years of experience in a respiratory therapy role is preferred; however, candidates with 2+ years of experience will also be considered.ACCS certification is preferred for applicants.A Virginia state license is required, with the potential for a temporary license pending prior to the start date.
