Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current New York State School Social Worker (SSW) certification required
• Active LMSW or LCSW license
• Experience or interest in working with diverse student populations within school settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability as caseload and specific hours will be confirmed in late August

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Coordinate interventions and resources for at-risk students
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Assist in crisis intervention and prevention programs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in line with school and state requirements
