Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Days

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Facility: Hospital Setting
Contract: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Start Date: ASAP
The Respiratory Therapist is either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide Cardiopulmonary Services. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policy and procedures in order to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include: assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, intubations, and blood gases.

• Provide respiratory and cardiopulmonary care to inpatient and outpatient populations in a hospital setting.

• Follow approved medical protocols, department policies, and established procedures to provide safe and timely patient care.

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures.

• Perform and assist with intubations and airway management.

• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and provide appropriate ventilator support.

• Administer medicated aerosol treatments using medical compressed gas.

Requirement .

• MUST HAVE: BLS & ACLS

• Will need a minimum of ICU, general floors and ED. NICU and Peds experience minimal, just enough to cover the ED.
