Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room. The shift is a day shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is highly valued. Patient ratios vary from 4:1, with occasional flexibility to 5:1. Every other weekend availability is required. First-time travelers are not accepted for this role. Travelers may be asked to float within the service line as needed. A block schedule is only available for Friday to Sunday. Candidates must have a solid foundation in handling a variety of emergency situations. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with high patient acuity. Frequent staffing in behavioral health areas may be necessary. The unit handles all types of emergency cases, serving patients across age groups. Successful candidates will demonstrate a positive attitude and provide mentorship to junior staff. The facility emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. All required skills should be confirmed prior to submission for consideration.
