Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Blood Bank
Location: Orange, California (CA)
Duration: 13 Weeks
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) with a strong Blood Bank background to join a high-volume acute care hospital laboratory. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently during night shifts and possess extensive experience in transfusion services within large hospital environments.
Schedule- 4x10-Hour Shifts
- Night Shift
- Rotating weekends and holidays as required
- ASCP Blood Bank (BB) Certification
- Specialist in Clinical Immunohematology (SBB/CIS)
- Minimum 2 years of Clinical Laboratory experience (required)
- Recent Blood Bank experience within the last 2 years (required)
- Previous Blood Bank travel assignment experience (required)
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center (required)
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Experience in a large acute care facility with 300+ beds required
- First-time travelers will not be considered

- Independent Night Shift Operations
- High-Volume Laboratory Processing
- Epic EMR Experience
- Blood Bank Software Experience (any platform)
- Experience handling 30–50+ specimens per day in a high-volume setting
- WellSky Blood Bank Software
- Immucor Instrumentation
