Overview Dental Hygienist – Family Dental Care of Owasso. Family Dental Care of Owasso is looking for a friendly, caring Dental Hygienist to join our team. Schedule Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Responsibilities Provide dental hygiene care to patients in accordance with professional standards and practice guidelines. Support a positive patient experience and contribute to a collaborative, team-based environment. Qualifications Oklahoma Dental Hygienist license Great communication and people skills Team-oriented and dependable Passion for patient care and education Benefits Competitive pay 4-day work week Supportive team environment Wonderful patients and work culture Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in OK and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience Experience required Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position Prolonged periods sitting and standing Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year TB test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, to be completed prior to starting employment.
