Job Details We are seeking a Global Freight Management Specialist to oversee and optimize domestic and international freight operations across multiple transportation modes. This individual‑contributor role will serve as a key point of contact for logistics providers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders while ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective movement of goods throughout the supply chain. The position will manage both outbound and inbound freight activity, including domestic LTL, FTL, parcel, and air shipments as well as international ocean and air transportation. Responsibilities Coordinate shipments across multiple systems, monitor freight activity, resolve transportation issues, maintain carrier relationships, and ensure timely delivery performance. Work closely with logistics service providers and transportation partners to manage day‑to‑day operations while contributing to strategic initiatives such as carrier evaluations, contract discussions, freight optimization, and cost reduction efforts. Audit freight invoices, ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance, develop and maintain standard operating procedures, track transportation performance metrics, and identify opportunities to improve service levels, efficiency, and overall freight spend. Communicate effectively and collaborate with vendors, operations teams, distribution leadership, and cross‑functional business partners. Manage day‑to‑day freight operations while consistently driving process improvements and cost efficiencies across the supply chain. Qualifications Experience managing international freight operations across ocean, air, and ground transportation. Strong understanding of shipping documentation, carrier management, logistics processes, and transportation best practices. Comfortable operating independently, managing multiple priorities, and serving as a key contributor within a fast‑paced supply chain environment.
