Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - First Assist

Operating Room (OR) / CVOR RN

Schedule: Days

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of perioperative OR experience
• Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience required
• RN licensure in GA or Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Preferred background in Trauma Level I/II and community hospital experience
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
• Monitor patients' physiological status before, during, and after surgical interventions.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Contribute to the education of patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must complete privileging process prior to start (approximately 120 days).
• No holiday RTO accepted if 12 holidays fall during assignment.
