About Manna
Manna Support Services is a Connecticut home care agency. We help people live safely and independently in their own communities, at home, at work, and out in their day-to-day lives. About the role
We're looking for a caregiver to support one of our clients at their work site and at the gym two days a week. You'll help them stay engaged and successful during work activities, walk them through the technology they use at the gym, and get them safely to and from home. This is a great fit for someone who likes a steady routine and enjoys helping a person build confidence and independence, not just checking tasks off a list.
What you'll do
- Provide hands-on support during activities at the work site, helping the person stay engaged and on track
- Assist with technology at the gym, including check-in systems and equipment
- Provide safe, reliable transportation between home and the work site
- Communicate any concerns or changes to the Manna team promptly
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record. This role includes transportation
- Comfortable with everyday technology and patient walking someone else through it
- Reliable. Same two mornings, every week, without fail
- A calm, encouraging presence with people
- Able to pass a background check
- Caregiving or direct support experience is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
- A small, local team that knows you and your schedule
- Work that makes a direct, visible difference for someone in your community
