Minimum Qualifications: Enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology Program required

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

One (1) year patient care and/or operating room experience n an accredited hospital preferred

Basic computer skills

Demonstrate understanding of aseptic techniques

6-week internship program starting on June 16th DEPARTMENT: PeriOperative SCHEDULE:

40 hours per week for duration of internship ATTRIBUTES Basic computer skills.

Demonstrates understanding of aseptic technique.

Excellent customer service and communication skills highly desired.

Enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program required.

Sterile Technique

Surgical Scrub, Donning & Doffing of Sterile Scrub Attire

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
