Job Description

St. Cloud Technical & Community College is actively seeking instructors to join its Customized Training department, offering opportunities to teach in a variety of specialized fields. This is a chance to share expertise and contribute to workforce development in the following subject areas:

• Business, IT, and Professional Skills – Provide practical training in leadership, communication, Microsoft applications, and essential workplace skills.

• Skilled Trades and Industry – Offer hands-on training and certification support for tradespeople advancing or updating their skills.

• Health/EMS – Deliver essential training in CPR, first aid, and clinical skills such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and nursing aide skills observation to support healthcare workforce readiness.

• Direct Care and Human Services – Train caregivers and support staff in essential skills for practical, compassionate support tailored for those working in residential, in-home, or community-based settings.

Salary: $35-$60/hour

In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.

Work Shift (Hours / Days of work): This teaching position could possibly teach a variety of modalities to include in-person on campus or completely online or a hybrid course. The SCTCC course schedule determines the days of the week and specific class times.

Telework (Yes/No) : Yes, some travel throughout Minnesota may be required.
