Join us and lay the foundation for your success. Groundworks is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permit Administrator to join our Albuquerque team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our operations by managing permit applications, tracking approvals, coordinating with municipalities, and ensuring permits are properly closed out upon project completion. Responsibilities Apply for and manage residential and commercial permits Coordinate with local municipalities, inspectors, and permitting agencies Track permit status and ensure timely approvals Schedule inspections and assist with permit close-outs Maintain permit records and project documentation Support branch operations with administrative and clerical tasks Communicate with customers, project managers, and field personnel regarding permit requirements Ensure compliance with local, state, and municipal regulations Qualifications Previous permitting, construction administration, or municipal experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience working with building departments or construction-related permits is highly preferred Compensation & Benefits $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience Compensation is negotiable for candidates with extensive permitting experience Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement within a growing national company What We Provide Competitive Pay Employee Company Ownership Opportunities Industry Leading Training Programs Leadership Development and Career Growth Tracks Comprehensive and Affordable Benefits Package Top Workplace with Award Winning Culture The anticipated salary range is the expected hiring range for this role in New Mexico is $17.19 - $20.23.
