divh2Warehouse Associate/h2pWork Shift: First Shift (United States of America)/ppJob Description: Responsible placing inventory into stock, picking orders for delivery, timely and accurate delivery to manufacturing departments, loading and unloading IPT trailers, housekeeping, inventory control and product put away./ph3Essential Job Functions/h3ulliLearn products and the location of the inventory within the facility./liliPut away raw material in receiving location to rack locations./liliPick and deliver raw material to production areas./liliPick and issue raw material/tools within the Tool Crib./liliComplete all necessary Prism transactions./liliMaintain vehicle properly and furnish vehicle operation report attached to MOS documents./liliReport and record damage to, product, and/or Cambro property./liliLoad and unload IPT trailers by hand or by use of a hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, or dolly./liliPad, stack, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipments./liliResponsible for assisting receiving with various functions performed in that area./liliReport out-of-stock items to Inventory Control Supervisor./liliMaintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees./li/ululliMaintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization./liliExecute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully./liliFollows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions./liliPerforms effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect./liliTakes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects./liliFollow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager./liliAble to understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture, display company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service)./liliUnderstands departments key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team./liliOther duties as needed or required./li/ulh3Additional Responsibilities/h3ulliMust be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliMust have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, be a self-starter, and have the ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing./liliMust be able to do simply mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division/liliMust have previous warehouse management system experience, i.e. AS400, SAP, Prism, etc./liliMust have previous stock picker and sit-down forklift experience and be able to operate a forklift safely./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliBilingual in Spanish/liliCurrently forklift certified/liliExperience with Prism, Intermec, and/or AS400 system/li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3pThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
