1st Choice Delivery is looking for a Terminal Supervisor for our Livonia, MI terminal. This individual must have a general knowledge of computer programs/operations and be a self-starter. This position will be from 6:00 AM to approximately 2:30 PM Monday - Friday and possible Saturdays during peak season. While hours may vary slightly and this is an approximation, the hours should run very similar to the above referenced hours and to apply, you must be able to work during those hours. Heavy lifting (boxes up to 50 lbs.) is also required. Please note that respective applicants must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Directs operations for deliveries and return logistics in his or her operational area.

Manages personnel requirements and the overhead of his or her operation.

Ensures compliance with customer requirements, company standards and various legal obligations related to last mile delivery.

· Receives freight, maintains correct chain of custody, ensures product is sorted to correct route.

· Ensure jobs/data are assigned to the correct driver.

· Ensures drivers maintain data integrity through receive, load and deliver scans.

· Complete OSD report and any other required daily reporting.

· Monitor delivery process throughout the day and report any delays or issues through proper channels.

· Respond in timely matter to customer inquiries, email and phone requests.

· Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.

· Evaluate routing and personnel needs to maximize efficiency and manage cost.

· Monitor the building for cleanliness, damage etc. Work with management to ensure the building is secure and cameras/alarms/badge access are all working correctly.

· Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good working knowledge of geography, routing structure, available resources

Good time management skills
