Job Summary

We are hiring a Security Officer in Sparrows Point, MD . Come join a diverse and inclusive team that believes in providing excellent customer service and knows that its biggest asset is its employees.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
Available Shifts

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

• Rover Officer: | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | 32 Hours Per Week
• Weekend Rover Officer: Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM | 16 Hours Per Week (Opportunity to combine with an additional 24-hour post for a full-time schedule.)
• Main Gate Officer: | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI's safety manual.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with effective written and oral communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Must pass all required background and drug screenings.
• Valid Driver's License.
• TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.
• Valid Security License required.
