Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1880 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with wound, tracheostomy, ostomy, drain, chest tube, stroke, and seizure care preferred.

Unit Details: Patient population may require dialysis or PCA pumps; heparin is the only drip used. Uses PD cyclers, Welch Allyn VS carts, Hoyer lifts, Broda chairs, and Alaris IV pumps. Post-op procedures on the unit include amputations, ostomies, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries, and wound vacs.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week block.

Floating Requirements: Traveler will float over core staff.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with the manager upon arrival at the facility.
