Yates-Astro Termite & Pest Control is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Market Development Representative to help grow our presence in the Charleston and Summerville market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, creating opportunities, and building relationships within the community.

Our company performs termite treatments for many newly constructed homes through partnerships with leading homebuilders. You'll be responsible for connecting with these new homeowners, introducing them to our pest control services, and helping convert them into long-term customers. Success in this role requires creativity, persistence, and a willingness to proactively reach out through phone calls, neighborhood visits, and face-to-face interactions.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, enjoys working independently, and wants to play a key role in growing a market.

Responsibilities

• Contact and build relationships with new homeowners in the Charleston & Summerville area.
• Conduct outbound calls, follow-up communications, and door-to-door visits to generate new business.
• Present and sell pest control and termite protection services to prospective customers.
• Develop creative strategies to increase customer engagement and market penetration.
• Schedule and conduct appointments with homeowners.
• Follow up with prospects and customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain customer records and activities within our CRM system.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns professionally.
• Assist with servicing customer accounts when needed to support operational demands and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Represent Yates-Astro professionally within the community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with prospective customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and motivated by results.
