Northwell Health’s Behavioral Health Service Line is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Group Practice. The role requires a highly motivated candidate with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The psychiatrist will be open to child & adolescent as well as some adult outpatient work, providing evaluation and medication management for psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, personality disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management to children and adults.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and social workers in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the Behavioral Health Group Practice’s high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Board eligible or board certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Clinical experience in outpatient psychiatry.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
