Medical Receptionist

A growing primary care clinic in Miramar is seeking a friendly, organized Front Desk Receptionist to join their team ahead of an exciting new clinic launch. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new site from day one and play a key role in shaping a positive patient experience.

The Role

As the first point of contact, you’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients while supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner
• Manage patient check-in/check-out, verifying demographics and insurance
• Handle incoming calls and respond to enquiries
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
• Collect co-pays and process payments
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Support general administrative tasks (faxing, scanning, filing)

What We’re Looking For

• Previous front desk or medical office experience preferred
• Understanding of insurance verification and eligibility
• Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks experience advantageous)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
