Companionship Volunteer Needed
Residential Home Health and Residential Hospice
Volunteer Position Residential Hospice is looking for volunteers to visit patients at home or in a long‑term care facility. Companionship may include reading and talking to a patient, writing letters, sharing a patient’s personal story, or giving respite to caregivers. Responsibilities Visit patients at home or in long‑term care facilities. Provide companionship through reading, talking, writing letters, and sharing stories. Offer respite and support to caregivers. Benefits For Patients Knowing that they are not alone, having the chance to see a new face and share their stories, and giving caregivers the opportunity to take brief breaks and return refreshed. Patients also gain something to look forward to during their care journey.
