PCB Design Engineer

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position As a Printed Circuit Board Design Hardware Engineer, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the following:Assist the Electrical Engineering product design team in the layout of high speed/high density multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) to MIL/IPC standards using PCB design tools, with experience in Siemens DX Designer and Xpedition Enterprise preferred. Support design efforts using PTC CREO and AutoCAD design tools.Support thermal and mechanical analysis to ensure reliability under operating requirements. Gain exposure to thermal issues and assist in diagnosing thermal-related problems. Support the Qualification process of all PCBs designed in house. Support the Procurement and Fabrication of the PCBs.
