Role Description The Financial Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Auburn, AL. In this position, the representative supports customers by explaining loan products, assisting with applications, and guiding them through approval and repayment processes. Daily tasks include handling in-person and phone inquiries, processing payments, maintaining accurate account records, and supporting tax-related services during relevant seasons. The role also involves outreach activities such as follow-up calls, appointment scheduling, and contributing to branch-level customer service and sales goals. The representative collaborates with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations while delivering respectful, helpful service to every customer. Qualifications Customer service and communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, explain financial products clearly, and interact professionally with diverse customers. Basic financial literacy and numeracy skills, with comfort handling cash, reviewing loan documents, and understanding payment schedules and interest concepts. Administrative and organizational skills, including accurate data entry, recordkeeping, scheduling, and attention to detail in documentation. Sales and relationship-building capabilities, such as identifying customer needs, presenting suitable solutions, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. Proficiency with common office software and point-of-sale or financial systems, and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive personal and financial information. Ability to work on-site during standard business hours, collaborate with branch colleagues, and adapt to changing customer volume and needs. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
