As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met, while also providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with our culinary team.

About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleanup in our restaurant-style dining room. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to dietary guidelines and regulations, and assisting with meal planning and ordering.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables
• Serve meals to residents and ensure that they are satisfied with their dining experience
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Assist with meal planning and ordering, ensuring that menus meet dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory and ordering
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food presentation and service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in food service or dining assistance preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
