Warehouse II

Position Description Pay Rate: $18.00/hour The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is the movement of product within the warehouse. The role also serves as a backup delivery driver for non‑CDL trucks. It is a general labor position that prioritizes and picks product to fill orders and physically moves and lifts product weighing as much as 150 pounds. Key Responsibilities Assist in administrative tasks such as handling and preparing paperwork and aiding in the daily closing of the warehouse. Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size, and type, and inform management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assist in periodic inventory counts. Compile and submit regular reports on damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory. Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading. Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow. Load and unload delivery trucks—lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. Handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) that are greater than approximately 50 pounds. Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license if required. Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial tasks, such as cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and area surrounding the building; keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms, and assist in daily closing of the warehouse. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment: The employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel required: 5% of the time.
