TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Onancock, Virginia, 23417!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Onancock, VA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within an acute care hospital
• Chart and document patient information using EPIC electronic health records system
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Complete required NIH and stroke education as part of onboarding for this acute care setting
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, certifications, and specialty practice standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Virginia license required to be in hand at time of submittal, or proof of a valid compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required – must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC charting experience required
• NIH and stroke education required
• Specialty experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry within the last year required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submittal
• SSN required at time of submittal
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same base rate as travel candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Experience floating across units in a hospital setting
