Caregiver PositionWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and community programs. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive and respectful caregiving.Duties may include:Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility supportSupport patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, ensuring a safe environmentPrepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessaryMaintain cleanliness of living spaces through light cleaning duties to promote a healthy environmentObserve and report changes in patient condition or behavior to healthcare professionals or family membersUtilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injuryFollow established care plans diligently while providing emotional support and companionshipEnsure compliance with all safety standards, including CPR and first aid procedures, to safeguard residents’ well-beingCompanion care, including accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and errands. May also provide transportation to and from appointments and other community activities as appropriate.Skills needed may include:Familiarity with Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities care strategiesAbility to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistanceExcellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teamsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environmentsBasic cooking skills for meal preparation aligned with dietary restrictionsRequired:Proven care experienceCompassionate attitude and patience while working with seniors or individuals with complex needsThis role is essential for providing compassionate support that promotes independence, safety, and dignity for those in your care.
